Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash-Morgan, an actor who has been a part of the SSC's board of directors since 2011, is the co-founding artistic director of the newly formed theatre company Speech of Fire. She was the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 to the year 2019. When she was the Artistic Director of SSC she was also the costume and set designer for the production, as well as writer/music director as well as a text coach. The last year of her tenure, she was a director and lighting designer in SSC's production of King Lear. She had directed from the group, but the year that she made her directorial debut. In addition to her acting work, she's also involved in several game shows. In her early years, she was brought up within Walnut Creek with her siblings as well as poetry writer Marylee Post. Las Lomas High School was where she took classes and played soccer. The school she attended briefly was Pomona College and graduated from Lewis & Clark College in Oregon. The previous marriage she had was to Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross (actor/writer) has been the wife of Post since 1982. The couple has two daughters. Post is a great actress, a wonderful wife and mom and a role model for several Hollywood stars.
